My room
I put up pictures and postcards and artwork and things that remind me of home on my wall. In the morning, I wake up thinking that they have all fallen down, one by one, and moved to the corner of the room, like a pile of leaves.
Displacement. The space of the page. Gaps in memory. History as palimpsest. Shifting ground. Testimony. Revolving doors. Relation of language and landscape. Dislocation/relocation. Interruption. (Mis)communication. Borders. Cross Genres. Topography. Myth. Postscripts. Houses. Domestic space. Sediment. The unfixed. The disconnection between hearing and speaking. The dumb tongue. Echoes of conversation. Fragments. Folding.
